Description:

Experience the joy of Holi festival in Jaipur on seventh and eighth March with our unique tour that combines the festivities with a visit to an elephant sanctuary. Our tour starts with a pick-up from your hotel in an open jeep, allowing you to explore the beautiful Pink City of Jaipur while interacting with the locals and enjoying the vibrant Holi festival. After the city tour, we will visit the famous GovindDevJi Temple, where you can celebrate Holi, make your wishes, enjoy prayer mantras, and play Holi with the locals.

Next, we will take you to the elephant sanctuary where you will have the opportunity to interact with these gentle giants in a responsible and ethical way. You will be introduced to the elephants and learn their names and history while getting the chance to touch them, take photos, and give them massages. You will also have the chance to feed them their favourite foods, including sugar cane and green leaves, and spend quality time connecting with them. To top it off, you can even participate in painting the elephants with natural, herbal colours that are safe for both the elephants and humans.

Rather than riding the elephants, we encourage walking with them to promote their welfare and allow for better communication and connection. You can also give the elephants a refreshing shower with a hose or brush and clean off any leftover paint. Finally, to show gratitude for their efforts, we offer bananas to the elephants before saying goodbye and heading back to your hotel.
